Kenny Bernstein

Six-time NHRA Top Fuel champion Kenny Bernstein will compete in his 23rd and final season behind the wheel of the Budweiser King Top Fuel dragster in 2002, and the NHRA will salute Bernstein during his final year of competition in 2002, supporting Budweiser's "Forever Red … A Run To Remember" tour.

The "Forever Red" program is designed to celebrate Bernstein's distinguished career in motorsports and the sponsorship of "the King of Speed" by the "King of Beers."

Bernstein will be featured heavily in NHRA's pre-race publicity, marketing, and advertising, on ticket stock, and in NHRA's numerous publications. NHRA.com will offer a yearlong salute to the Bud King and Bernstein's career also will featured in vignettes during national-event television coverage on ESPN2. Bernstein also will be honored during pre-race festivities at each event in 2002.

The special section will be updated throughout the season with reflections from Bernstein of his fondest memories of an incredible career.
