McClenathan started to smoke the tires around 330 feet and pedaled it, but couldn't get it to hook back up. Dixon wins from the number one spot for the 11th time in his career, and the last time he did it was the last anyone not named Tony Schumacher did back in Englishtown of 2005.

Tasca is in his very first final round. The two will once again be the very best of friends after this race is over, but right now all the marbles, bragging rights, valuable points, and more is on the line.
Pedregon left first and was pulling away when the engine in the Quaker State machine started to fail. Tasco drove by before half track then likely experienced the longest two seconds of his life before the finish line finally flashed by.

He is 7-1 against Shields lifetime, including 2-0 in final rounds.This is Shields first Gainesville appearance. Duane made the long drive from Nevada worth the trip. Reichert lit up the tires right off the lane, and could only watch Shields take the win, the trophy and the prize money in the left lane.

Manzo was a little loose right off the starting line, but then blast on through the 1320 for the fastest speed of the event.

This time Eaton takes the Wally home to Merritt Island Florida, and runs over 200 mph as a bonus.
