Weather conditions: air temperature 73 degrees, relative humidity 66 percent, barometer 29.96 inches, adjusted altitude 1,649 feet, track temperature 89 degrees.
Drew's car may have been staged too far to the left, the result was a dive toward the centerline, Drew had to lift. He may have broken something too, the RPM's wheeled freely before he lifted off the loud pedal.

Moats did the first escape hatch up and open burnout this reporter has ever seen.... The crew put the hatch down for him after he backed up to the starting line.
Anderika had to pedal once, Moats left the line after Anderika had gone past the 330-foot marker. Vern lit up the big Goodyears and had to pedal as well.
