      Left Lane: Bob Bode         Runs 5.156/172.65, Now #2
     Right Lane: Brian Thiel      Runs 4.304/286.86, Now #1
Weather conditions: air temperature 80 degrees, relative humidity 71 percent, barometer 29.44 inches, adjusted altitude 2,841 feet, track temperature 94 degrees.

Bode started to shake the tires and clicked it off. Thiel with his debut in Funny Car driving the Paul Smith car and he makes a real nice looking pass. Brian Thiel's incremental times: 60ft-0.922 sec., 330ft-2.397, 660ft-3.452/246.08 mph.

Pedregon started to lose traction early and clicked it off. Arend was straight down the groove.

They both started to lose traction at the same time...Toliver clicked it off and Wilkerson pedaled it one time.

Beckman started to spin the tires and got out of the groove before he clicked it off. Force Hood with a real nice looking pass...straight to the number one spot. Ashley Force Hood's incremental times: 60ft-0.908 sec., 330ft-2.351, 660ft-3.336/261.93 mph.

Force lost traction about the same place everyone else has, but he pedaled it. John Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.961 sec., 330ft-2.473, 660ft-3.503/252.33 mph. Hagan lost traction and the car was side ways before he lifted.

Pedregon broke on the burnout. Neff was off the throttle by 150 feet.

After about 25 minute delay to clean up Pedregon's mess from his burnout we are back. Worsham lost traction early and clicked it off. Hight lost traction right after Worsham did and he too clicked it off.

Tasca is off the throttle by 150 feet and coast on through the 1000 feet. Capps launched and was able able to keep it hooked up to go to the number two spot. Ron Capps' incremental times: 60ft-0.917 sec., 330ft-2.376, 660ft-3.375/259.01 mph.

Pedregon loses traction around 330 feet and pedaled it and was able to get it to hook back up. He was able to chase down Bode as his car really started mixing up cylinders around half track and it appears the car through the blower belt, because Bode was just coasting as it crossed the finish line. Beckman and Hight have each won 3 times against the other in prior events. They both lose traction and smoke the big Goodyears around 330 feet, they both pedal it. Beckman didn't get it took hook up and was hazing the tires through the finish line, but was enough to get the win light. Hight lost traction again after he pedaled it and the car made a quick move toward the center line. He did great job of keeping it in his lane, but then coasted across the finish line. Beckman will give up lane choice to Wilkerson in the next round.

This a repeat of last year's final round, and Worsham won that one. Force Hood is out of the gate first and never looks back as Worsham loses traction and then starts dropping cylinders.Force Hood with her quickest pass today, but she will give up lane choice to Beckman by 0.002 seconds.

They leave together then it was all Force Hood for her second National event win. She was increasing her lead at every increment going down the track.
