This is the first time Hight and Tasca III have faced each other in eliminations. Tasca is out of the gate first and never looks back as he is straight down the groove. Hight gets to about 400 feet and the losses traction and has the car side ways before he lifts.

Toliver loses traction as soon as he hits the throttle and clicks it off. Worsham launches hard and keep it hooked up for the second quickest pass in the Funny Car class this weekend.
