Line and Coughlin had a 12-12 record against each other coming into this race. Line had two wins and no losses against Coughlin in the first round. Line got out of the gate first but then the car got loose at about 60 feet. The car moved out of the groove and Line backed off the throttle. Meanwhile, Coughlin took his car down the groove for the win.
