Their most recent final round meeting was Brainerd, 2007. Dixon has 46 wins in 86 prior final rounds, Bernstein has 17 wins in 30 prior finals. Dixon will leave here either second or fourth in the points. A win by Dixon will move him past Tony Schumacher, into second place in the championship points. A win by Bernstein will move him past Dixon, into third in the championship points.
They left together, but Bernstein's rear tires were up in smoke after 100 feet or so, while Dixon went right down the groove with his best run of the day.

Beckman with a near perfect light and blast on through for his second National event win this year and his eighth career National event win. Beckman with his quickest pass of the day. With the win Beckman moves into fourth place in the points. Tasca was up in smoke as soon as he hit the throttle.

Line took a four hundredths advantage at the green and was never headed, Edwards' car spinning the tires hard on the launch and coasting at the finish.

Reichert has 17 wins in 37 prior final rounds, three of those coming in the first 19 finals, the other 14 in the next 18 final round appearances.
This was over quickly, Manners' car jumping straight up and smoking the tires, dropping several cylinders when the tires unloaded. Reichery made it look easy, running his quickest time of the event.
