Schumacher is 7 - 3 against Brown in prior events and Schumacher is 2 - 1 against Brown in prior final rounds. This is Brown's 22nd overall National event win and his sixth win in Top Fuel. He3 just keeps adding points to that lead which is now 137 points over Schumacher.

Courtney Force is going to her first final while Demke has been to three this season and seven finals overall without a win. C.Force trailed all the way to 1000ft at which point Demke has the car let him down. He banged a burst panel and the white Sanyo car pulled away for a win. Bateman is in his sixth National event final and still looking for his first win. Gordon has three National event wins in seven National event final rounds. They both have great lights and Bateman is up in smoke as soon as he let the clutch out. Gordon with his quickest pass of the weekend for the win and his second win here in Seattle. Doug Gordon's incremental times: 60ft-0.958 sec., 330ft-2.476, 660ft-3.678/205.66 mph, 1,000ft-4.704.

Dalrymple's father won "Best Engineered Car" award this weekend, and his father also won here in 2006. This is the first National event final round for both of these competitors. Dalrymple wins the double breakout race.
