Massey with a slight starting line advantage, but is up in smoke right off the starting line and clicks it off. Dixon with his quickest pass today and wins for the first time here at Maple Grove Raceway. This is 48th national event in his career and his fifth national event win this season.

Neff staged deep and was late coming out of the gate. Tasca had a good start and took his car right down the groove for the Funny Car win here.

They leave together and then it is all Coughlin with the quickest pass of event. This Coughlin's 47th national event win and his sixth this year. Steve Johnson lent Phillips an engine, and Phillips and his crew managed to get the new engine in the bike and ready to go for the final round.
Krawiec was 3 - 10 in final rounds for his career and 3 - 4 this year. Phillips was 2 - 3 in final rounds, with his last event win coming here at Maple Grove in 2003.
Phillips was first coming out of the gate but did not have the power he needed. Krawiec pulled away and kept pulling away to take the win.

Lewis with the starting line advantage and then is up in smoke as soon as he hit the throttle. Shields with another great looking pass for his 13th national event win and his third this year.

Manzo was 50 -4 in his last 54 final rounds, 32 - 1 in his last 33 finals and had won 22 consecutive final rounds coming into this round. Since the Memphis race in 1999, Manzo has lost to only four drivers and White is one of those drivers. White beat Manzo on a holeshot at Columbus in 2002. Manzo is 3 - 1 against White in final rounds.
This time, it was Manzo's turn to win on a holeshot. Manzo got out of the gate first, with White closing the gap. Before White could get by Manzo, the pair crossed the finish line with Manzo getting his tenth win here in a row.
We're up against the curfew here so racing will come to an end for evening. The Top Alcohol Dragster finals, as well as the remaining Sportsman rounds, will be run tomorrow. DRC will be here to follow the action.

Dan and Thomas become only the third father and son to win national events at the same event.
