No Prior Run 2:30 p.m. - Weather conditions: air temperature 83 degrees, relative humidity 66 percent, barometer 29.24 inches, adjusted altitude 3,374 feet, track temperature 98 degrees.There was a 20-minute delay after the end of Super Stock because of water seeping through the track after the finish line. Smith and Wells had problems in yesterday's qualifying session and did not make the provisional field. There are only 16 motorcycles here this weekend so as long as they can get down the track, they'll make the show.

Stoffer launched and her bike shut down right away. Krawiec was not as quick as yesterday and will stay where he was in the order.

This was Johnson's 17th start at Maple Grove. His first was in 1993. Johnson got off the starting line first but Horne caught him by the time they reached 60 feet. After that, the race was all Horne's as he pulled away for the win.

This was Treble's 162 start and his 11th start here at Maple Grove. Pippin was runner up at Brainerd. Pippin was second out of the gate but got by Treble right away to take the win and move on to the next round.

After the race, Phillips said his motorcycle had engine or transmission problems.

8:58 p.m. - Weather conditions: air temperature 77 degrees, relative humidity 74 percent, barometer 29.37 inches, adjusted altitude 2,695 feet, track temperature 96 degrees. Phillips broke the engine on his motorcycle during the semifinals and said he would not be back for the final round. Steve Johnson lent Phillips an engine, and Phillips and his crew managed to get the new engine in the bike and ready to go for the final round. Krawiec was 3 - 10 in final rounds for his career and 3 - 4 this year. Phillips was 2 - 3 in final rounds, with his last event win coming here at Maple Grove in 2003.
Phillips was first coming out of the gate but did not have the power he needed. Krawiec pulled away and kept pulling away to take the win.
