Final Round

Dixon is 3 - 2 against Massey in prior events and Dixon is 1 - 0 against Massey in prior final rounds. Massey is out of the gate first and never trails as Massey wins his second National event when Dixon is up in smoke before he gets to the Christmas tree. Dixon pedaled it one time, but couldn't get it to hook up so he will go into Pomona trailing Schumacher by one point. Massey runs his quickest pass of the weekend for the win.

5:14 p.m. Beckman is 8-8 in final in final rounds, 2-2 this year. This is his second final round at this track. He won this event in 2006.

Hight is 13-12 in final rounds, 2-1 this year. He beat Beckman in one final round in Dallas earlier this year. Hight has the three quickest times in eliminations today.

Beckman gets out of the gate first and hangs on to the lead until just past the 330 foot mark. Hight was making up ground quickly and drove around him at that point. Hight kept the candles lit all the way through the run and pulled away for the win.

With this win Hight will have a 105 point lead over his team-mate Force-Hood going into the last race.

Jones is 2 - 1 against Morgan in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round. the news from the pits is the Jones was running Morgan power to get to the finals, and after the semifinal Morgan went by the Jones pit and got his powerplant back. Jones put in one of his engines. Morgan with the starting line advantage and take s the win light. Morgan with his first win since Sonoma 2002. This is Morgan's tenth National event win.

Pro Stock Motorcycle

The both pre-stage and then there is a mini-burn down as neither driver will stage finally Personett goes in first. Personett starts bringing up the rpms and then the car launches and he leaves before the light turns green. Payne with a great looking pass for the win.

It Lang brothers all the time here in the Stock final, This is the fourth time they have raced each other and Jody holds a 2 - 1 advantage. Jody with a great light and he collects his 17th National event win and third against his brother. Jody sweeps the Las Vegas National events this year.

Coughlin has been doing very well today and he continues that here. He gets another great light and puts together a .019 package to take the win.
