But Guest managed to tame the car down and regain traction, then drive by on the last segment of the track. Caro was looking for his first win since Houston '89. He is the 65th different driver Rampy has faced. It was a 21-year drought between national event wins, the eighth-longest gap among all racers (Pro and Sportsman). Caro had seven thousandths in hand at the tree and held Rampy off on the other end to get the win light.

Super Stock Final Round

He and Biondo have faced off in two Stock finals, Biondo won both times. Make that three finals, same result. Biondo sawed the tree down, then whomped the throttle on the top end for the win.
