Schumacher is 35 - 32 against Dixon in prior events and Schumacher is 12 - 5 against Dixon in prior final rounds. Dixon holds a five to three advantage in head to head races this year and Dixon won the only final they faced each other this year. This is Dixon's 100th final round and Schumacher's 101st final round. Schumacher with a starting line advantage, but Dixon had the difference made up by 150 feet. Dixon with another great run for his 56th National event win and his eighth win this year. Dixon has qualified number one five time this year and has won every time he has qualified number one this year and that is the first time the number one qualifier has won Top Fuel here since 2004. Schumacher with whisp of tire smoke on the top end.

Beckman is 9-10 in final round appearances and has already won one race at Phoenix this year. He is in his in his third final this year with a 1-1 record. Capps is 30-39 in final rounds. This will be his third this year, second in a row. He has four prior wins at Infineon. Capps is 8 - 7 against Beckman in prior events and Beckman is 1 - 0 against Capps in prior final rounds. A terrific final round with side by side performance. Beckman gets a small RT advantage at the green and is only able to stay out in front until after the sixty foot lights. Capps just gets by and the two cars basically "station keep" each other to the finish line That evens up their wins against each other and gives him the 2010 Funny Car Championship. Very cool! Line is 17 - 14 against Coughlin in prior events and Coughlin is 3 - 1 against Line in prior final rounds. Coughlin with the starting line advantage and then increases his lead at every increment. Coughlin collects his 51st Pro Stock win and his third this year and the second time here in Sonoma.

Hines is the only defending champion left in eliminations. Hines is 20-13 in final rounds and is in his third final this year with two wins. Phillips is 5-6 in final rounds and also has is in his third final this year with two wins. Hines is 13 - 1 against Phillips in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round. Hines gets a 0.005 advantage off the line. Phillips gets out in front by sixty feet, only to be passed by Hines, who stays there until after mid-track by just a couple of thousandth, where the big Suzuki power gets him back in front to stay. He is the 2010 Pro Stock Bike Champion and set the National Speed record to top off the day. Michael Phillips' incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(0.009), 330 ft(-0.002), 660ft(-0.006), 1,000ft(0.006). MOV: 0.0188 seconds (approximately 5 feet). DePalma is 1-4 in final rounds of eliminations and Mettler is 4-2. He won here in 2007. Two bad lights and Mettler is better. DePalma takes a bigger bite of a permanent CIC as he stays in front to take the 2010 Comp. Eliminator Championship.

Ferderer was 20 career wins and last won this year at Las Vegas. He had his first win at Denver in 1985. Forkner is 0-2 in career wins. Advantage Ferderer at the green and he runs well enough to hold off a charging Forkner for the 2010 Top Sportsman Championship.
