Mariani is making his debut on the NHRA tour coming over from Australia. He was on a good
pass and then slowed on the top end. Mark Mariani's incremental times: 60ft-0.930 sec.,
330ft-2.326, 660ft-3.340/226.20 mph. Neergaard was off the throttle early.

August smoked the tires right at the hit and then apparently it banged the blower because the chutes deployed as he was coasting down the track. The car came to a stop on the track before the finish line.
