Wally Parks, who in 1951 while editor of
Hot Rod Magazine formed the National Hot Rod Association, has resigned his position as Editorial Director of Petersen Publishing Company's five automotive magazines to assume full-time responsibility as Chief Executive Officer of the National Hot Rod Association. Until the announcement, Parks had divided his time between his editorial tasks and the presidency of NHRA.
