to smash through the 300-mph barrier
At 4:44 p.m., March 20, Kenny Bernstein made drag-racing history by becoming the first driver to eclipse the 300-mph mark. Bernstein recorded the fastest speed ever for a Top Fueler at 301.70 mph in his Budweiser King dragster during a qualifying run at the NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway in Florida.
