Y.E.S. Career Day at the Races Presented by U.S. Army 

Attention Instructors:  

NOTE: Once you register your class, you will get a reply email from the "YES Program". This will be sent to the email address that you registered with, so I suggest using an email address that does not have extremely strict spam blockers, such as your school supplied address. This email will contain a link to register students and chaperones for the program. EACH participant must fill out a waiver form online which will enable the "GO PASS" to be printed. The GO PASS will be your ticket to enter the program. Please read through ALL the directions as this is a newer process for the program. Thank you and see you out at the track!

 Please arrive through Gate 17 off of McKinley between 8-9:30 a.m. to view our interactive midway and hear professionals speak about careers and life-long success. Walk the race pits to explore additional opportunities.

• Students learn about careers in the automotive and motorsports industry as well as the U.S. Army.  

L to R: Will Truitt, Director of Communications & Marketing, Don Schumacher Racing; "Fast" Jack Beckman, Valvoline/MTS Funny Car driver; Tony Schumacher, seven-time Top Fuel World Champion for the U.S. Army Team; Sergeant 1st Class Kern, U.S. Army. Students listen to a 30-minute discussion and get the chance to ask questions while learning more about careers and educational options for thier future.

Students can compete in the newly created School Challenge which consists of three phases (Mental, Emotional and Physical) via a relay format.

Participants learn first hand what goes into a Top Fuel Dragster operation in our program midway.
