Attend our interactive sponsor midway before attending our career opportunities presentation with professional speakers from Don Schumacher Racing, the U.S. Army,  NHRA officials, and other unique companies. Participants are then escorted into the race pits to explore more job options on their own and experience Championship Drag Racing.

  • Students learn about careers in the automotive and motorsports industry as well as the U.S. Army.   

Steve Johnson, Pro Stock Motorcycle rider and strong supporter of the YES Program, motivates hundreds of students to find their passion and be successful.

L to R: Will Truitt, Director of Communications & Marketing, Don Schumacher Racing; "Fast" Jack Beckman, Valvoline/MTS Funny Car driver; Tony Schumacher, seven-time Top Fuel World Champion for the U.S. Army Team; Sergeant 1st Class Kern, U.S. Army. Students listen to a 30-minute discussion and get the chance to ask questions while learning more about careers and educational options for thier future.


Students can compete in the newly created School Challenge which consists of three phases (Mental, Emotional and Physical) via a relay format.

 


Participants learn first hand what goes into a Top Fuel Dragster operation in our program midway.
