Mike Thomas Nitro Fish Wear Dodge Stratus R/T

Las Vegas, Saturday: Kenny Koretsky, Eddie Guarnaccia and Mike Thomas had a bewildered look Saturday afternoon at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway after the Nitro Fish Dodge failed to make the starting Pro Stock line-up for Sunday's SummitRacing.com Nationals.

Thomas' best run -- 6.863 seconds at 201.25 mph -- wasn't quick enough to qualify, leaving Koretsky (team owner) and Guarnaccia (crew chief) pondering their plan of attacking the problems. 

"We just missed it," Koretsky said of the tune-up.  "We are creeping up on it. We'll keep flogging it until we solve it. We are disappointed because we thought we had a good opportunity to qualify."
