Hillary Will KB Racing dragster

Columbus, prerace: Through a lifetime of competition in a different array of sports, Hillary Will has developed the confidence it takes to be a winner. Using that confidence, Will looks to the upcoming Pontiac Performance NHRA Nationals as the stepping stone to her first win in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series.

"Between the last seven races and all the testing we have been doing, I have a lot of runs in our KB Racing dragster,” said Will. “I'm gaining more confidence in my driving ability and as always, I have full confidence in my team and my dragster. Winning is not a matter of if, but when. We are looking to make it happen in Columbus."

Crew chief Jim Oberhofer also has confidence in the rookie Top Fuel driver of the KB Racing LLC-owned, Kalitta Motorsports-managed dragster. “Hillary is the most focused driver I’ve ever been associated with and that focus will translate to wins. She is learning her job well and gaining experience with each race. Her first win light could come at any time.”

Will enters the 42nd annual NHRA Pontiac Performance Nationals presented by Summit Racing Equipment, this weekend, at National Trail Raceway in Kirkersville, Ohio, near Columbus, No. 10 in the NHRA POWERade Top Fuel point standing.
