Chicago, Saturday: Angelle Sampey will start from the fifth position Sunday on the strength of Friday's first-round 7.058-second qualifying pass at 189.15 mph.

"We feel good about tomorrow," said the 2006 POWERade Pro Stock Motorcycle points leader who has won three of the season's first four races.  "We have won from a variety of qualifying positions, so I am very optimistic."

Tomorrow's first round will pit Sampey against number 12 Joe DeSantis.
