Northrop’s positive performances continue
Chicago, Sunday: For Dave Northrop, everything he’s doing in NHRA Pro Stock racing is positive and making progress. The next step, he says, should be a round win. Northrop, driving Kenny Koretsky’s red Nitro Fish/ISC Racers Tape Dodge Stratus, qualified 15th for Sunday’s CARQUEST Auto Parts Nationals and drew No. 2 starter Mike Edwards. Edwards pulled away early en route to a 6.675-second, 207.11-mph decision over Northrop’s 6.722 at 205.63 mph.
