Schumacher stays No. 1
Schumacher rode his track record pass of 4.486-seconds at 328.94 mph from Friday to his seventh pole of the year and the 29th of his career. The "We're ready to rock for race day," offered the defending NHRA POWERade Top Fuel world champion. "We were solid in qualifying here this weekend, but now we have to raise the bar for race day. We definitely want to build off of the momentum that we stored up over the last three races." Schumacher came into the weekend 150 points out of the lead holding fourth place.
