Hillary Will KB Racing dragster

Reading, Saturday: The rains returned to Maple Grove Raceway but not before Top Fuel completed three qualifying sessions – two yesterday and one today.  The fourth and final qualifying session remaining was canceled and the field is now set for the NHRA Toyo Tires Nationals.

Hillary Will qualified her KB Racing LLC-owned, Kalitta Motorsports-managed dragster in the No. 10 position on the final qualifying ladder.  The rookie driver will face veteran driver Bob Vandergriff, Jr., in the opening round of eliminations tomorrow, weather permitting.

With conditions yielding record setting numbers in all four professional classes, Will’s best of her three qualifying passes was a run of 4.560 seconds at 322.19 mph, run in the second qualifying session on Friday.
