Angelle Sampey TBA

Las Vegas, Saturday: U.S. Army rider Angelle Sampey ended up third in the final race day line up. Sampey improved from Friday's action, but she and teammate Antron Brown, who are battling for the POWERade world championship, landed on the same side of the elimination ladder for race day.

Sampey's first round opponent will be 14th-place qualifier, Karen Stoffer, while Brown will square off with 10th-place qualifier, Steve Johnson.

"You certainly can't do anything about the ladder - it is what it is," said Sampey. "It's unfortunate that only one of us will be able to get to the finals. We just have to make sure we meet up in the semifinals."
