Enders in quickest Pro Stock field in Pomona history
The race marks the end of the 2006 NHRA Drag Racing season and Enders feels that getting into Sunday’s elimination field is a great way to put a cap on the season. “When you beat the best our sport has to offer, you feel a real sense of accomplishment,” Enders said. “People like Warren Johnson, Larry Morgan, and Kenny Koretsky have been competing in Pro Stock a lot longer than me and when we elbow our way into Sunday eliminations and they can’t, it just goes to show how good this Revive-USA team really is. Our crew chief David Nickens has been working so hard. “Yeah, we’ve struggled a little since going on our own but I think that’s to be expected. We’ll have three months to sort out our brand new Dodge Stratus waiting back in Johnson stopped the quarter mile timers at 6.686-seconds and 206.07-mph, the third quickest run of the event. “There’s no doubt about it, we’ll have our work cut out for us Sunday,” Enders said. “You know, stranger things have happened and I think we have a great opportunity here to show everyone a taste of what’s to come.”
