Koretsky earns No. 10 starting slot
But his run of 6.749 seconds in the heart of Sunday's hot afternoon was equally as impressive because those are the same conditions he and the crew of Greg Hill's Indicom Electric/Nitro Fish Chevy Cobalt will see during eliminations. Koretsky's first-round opponent is Larry Morgan (No. 7, 6.669 at 206.35). "I think we are on to something in the tune-up," said Koretsky. "Eddie (Guarnaccia) and Tomi (Laine, team crew chiefs) have been working hard in the clutch area and we are going to be racing on Monday. Any day you qualify at the U.S. Nationals is a good day." Koretsky's first Pro Stock final round came here three years ago when he was runner-up to Greg Anderson.
