Worsham smokes the hoops, not in
"There just wasn't as much track as we were hoping for, and the car just basically drove into smoke," Worsham said. "It wasn't a violent sort of deal, where it just blows the tires off, it just eased into it, and that generally tells you that the tune-up was just a hair too aggressive, but not far off. To be real honest, we're not going to soft-pedal this thing. It's the last race of the year, the points are over as far as we're concerned, and we're just going to go after this deal aggressively. "We were not going to go out there and run a 4.86 that might not make the field anyway. We went out there to run a good number, and we missed by a little. We'll come back tomorrow and try to be as aggressive as the track will handle, while still knowing what the bump number is and what we have to do to make the show."
