Wilkerson follows his plan
"Our run today was a little better," explained Wilkerson. "It was faster early and in the middle, but it dropped a hole in same place. So, it's getting better. But this time it burned it up instead of flooding it. I decided I wasn't going to flood it again, so instead I burned it up. So, now I have to find the middle. If I find the middle, it will go 80 flat. So, tomorrow I'll try to find the middle. We don't know if the conditions will be there because it's supposed to be hotter. But the track is pretty good. So, we'll go out there and throw the sink at it and see what happens. "If I can make it go to the end, it will go 80 flat, pretty simple. I looked at all the numbers from earlier in the year and it's as fast as any 78 to 80 flat run I've made. But it's got to make it to the end, which it hasn't done yet. I've got the fuel curve off on it and I've just got to get it back. I'll get there, hopefully before Sunday."
