Justin Humphreys RaceRedi Motorsports Pontiac GXP

Chicago, Saturday: Justin Humphreys turned in another pair of consistent runs in Saturday's qualifying for Sunday's Torco Racing Fuels Route 66 Nationals at Route 66 Raceway, but it was his Friday night run of 6.737 seconds at 204.79 mph that was the quickest.  He starts 12th.

In his second race in the RaceRedi Motorsports Dodge Stratus, Humphreys stopped the clock in 6.754 and 6.750 seconds on another hot, humid, windy day south of Chicago that included a rain storm.  Action came to a halt not long after Pro Stock drivers finished qualifying.

Humphreys squares off against Jason Line (No. 5, 6.727 at 204.54 mph) in the opening round of eliminations.
