Justin Humphreys RaceRedi Motorsports Pontiac GXP

Las Vegas, Saturday:  Justin Humphreys was perplexed by his  car’s performance during qualifying for the ACDelco Las Vegas  Nationals, but he managed to run well enough to qualify for Sunday’s  eliminations at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Humphreys drove his RaceRedi Motorsports Pontiac to a best elapsed  time of 6.758 seconds at 204.05 mph on his first run Saturday, which  placed him 15th. He will race Greg Anderson (No. 2, 6.709 at 205.85  mph) in the first round.

“We struggled all weekend,” said Humphreys, “but we’re in the show,  and hopefully we can get something sorted out by first round  tomorrow. All we can do is go out there and do our best and hope  they give us a little room to make it up.”
