Geno Scali TBD Pro-Stock Bike

Houston, prerace: As Geno Scali and Team Trim-Tex prepare for the O’Reilly Spring Nationals, they do so with the same positive attitude that provided them with several noteworthy accomplishments last month in Gainesville, Fla. Scali qualified third and recorded his career best E.T. of 7.01 at the Gators. Team Trim-Tex also received the first Full Throttle Championship Award, presented to the team that exhibits the most consistency throughout a race. It was a strong start for the season.

Houston Raceway Park holds exceptional memories for Scali. In October 2000, Scali went to the finals against legendary Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Dave Schultz. Though Scali was defeated, this was Schultz’s 45th and final event win before losing his battle with cancer.

"This year will, of course, have a different outcome," Scali said. "I believe Team Trim-Tex has the dedication and focus necessary, giving us absolute potential to finish strong and leave with the win."

Crew chief Tom Duke agreed. "We’ve all worked very hard," he said. "We have the tuning ability and I strongly feel this weekend will be a winning one for us."
