Weis counting on three being a charm

Las Vegas, Saturday: Here we go again. Three out four first round matches this year for Scott Weis' "working man's team" have been against a single opponent Cory McClenathan. Unfortunately, for the Barrett Enterprises team, McClenathan has had their number all year.

Three's a charm is old clique, the Barrett Enterprises team hopes to make it ring true during Sunday's eliminations at the SummitRacing.com Nationals. Weis and his team are qualified eleventh. The Barrett team is famous for getting down sun-drenched tracks. Temperatures are expected to exceed 85 degrees tomorrow and make the team quite of force to be reckoned with. Weis and his team like their chances to send Cory Mac home early.

"It's our turn," said Weis. "Cory has sent us home early three times this year. The team really wants to repay the favor. We'll be racing in our style conditions tomorrow. We love the heat. The car's been running great all weekend. I can't wait for tomorrow."

Weis seems to be on his game in the cockpit too. In qualifying Weis cut on.020 light. On race day that could be just enough to put the pesky orange car on the trailer.
