Angelle Sampey TBA Pro-Stock Bike

Atlanta, Saturday: U.S. Army Pro Stock Motorcycle driver Angelle Sampey will start seventh on Sunday. Sampey, with a 7.166-second run at 179.64 mph on Saturday, moved from 11th in the order to seventh and as a result will face 10th-place qualifier, Shawn Gann, in the first round.

We needed to get into the upper half of the field," said the defending Summit Racing Equipment Southern Nationals champ. "Now, we start fresh on Sunday. This U.S. Army Suzuki team has to go deep into race day. Anything less is unacceptable."

Sampey will be bidding for her fifth victory at Atlanta Dragway.
