Angelle Sampey TBA Pro-Stock Bike

Sonoma, Friday: U.S. Army pilot Angelle Sampey claimed the 11th-place slot with two more rounds of qualifying to come.

Sampey posted a 7.157-second run at 186.23 mph, despite a strong head wind during the evening session.

"That wind was something else," offered the three-time Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. "It gave the sensation of going 300 mph. We'll certainly be looking to move into the top half of the line up by the end of Saturday."
