Geno Scali TBD Pro-Stock Bike

Reading, prerace: Geno Scali and Team Trim-Tex moved up another spot in the POWERade points standings after the recent U. S. Nationals in Indianapolis. Scali hopes to continue this upward movement in the points chase during this weekend’s NHRA Toyo Tires Nationals aboard his Craftsman/Trim-Tex/Hot Cams motorcycle.

Going into this event, Scali currently holds the No. 7 spot in the series. “The Pro Stock Motorcycle class has only three races remaining and we hope to finish the season in the top five,” Scali said. “We’re 37 points behind No. 5 Ryan Schnitz and if we stay focused, maintain consistency and keep going rounds, that hope can become a reality. Since Indy, the team has been working extremely hard and been very diligent in addressing all components required to make the program work."

Crew chief Tom Duke said, “It’s been a very tough and competitive year, but it’s not over yet. Maple Grove Raceway is a great place to race and is very popular with the fans and I have a really good feeling about this weekend.”
